Field work documenting an outcrop of the Upper Mercer limestone of the Pottsville Group. This image is of the work done for Measured Stratigraphic Section File Number 14827 for outcrop in an intermittant stream north of Kimmens Road in the Southwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 16, Tuscarawas Township, Stark County, Ohio. This area has shale, siltstone, sandstone, conglomerate, limestone, coal, clay and flint lithologies. Bedrock is from the Pennsylvanian Geologic Period. The outcrop was measured by Richard M. DeLong and Joseph A. Granchi on September 30, 1958.
