Outcrop of the Massillon sandstone of the Pottsville Group along the west side of Interestate 77 heading south at mile 125 near the exit for Lovers Lane in Akron, Summit County, Ohio. This area has shale, siltstone, sandstone, conglomerate, limestone, coal, clay and flint lithologies. Bedrock is from the Pennsylvanian Geologic Period. Michael C.
