An outcrop of the Lower and Upper Mercer limestone of the Pottsville Group along the east side of Interstate 77 at Kimbolton, Guernsey County, Ohio. This area has shale, siltstone, sandstone, conglomerate, limestone, coal, clay and flint lithologies. Bedrock is from the Pennsylvanian Geologic Period. The image was taken in 1980.
