An outcrop with the Brush Creek limestone of the Conemaugh Group along Ohio State Route 56 in Athens County, Ohio. This area has shale, siltstone, mudstone, sandstone, limestone and coal lithologies. Bedrock is from the Pennsylvanian Geologic Period. The photograph was taken in 1971. The location given is approximate based on comparison with information from Measured Stratigraphic Section File Number 7603.
