An outcrop with the Brush Creek limestone of the Conemaugh Group at the Helmick Mill Covered Bridge over Island Run in Morgan County, Ohio. This area has shale, siltstone, mudstone, sandstone, limestone and coal lithologies. Bedrock is from the Pennsylvanian Geologic Period. Pauline Smyth is pictured in this photograph taken in October 1952.
