An outcrop with the Ewing limestone of the Conemaugh Group at the ConRail railroad cut north of the Ava Brick Corporation claypit north of Ava, Buffalo Township, Noble County, Ohio. This area has shale, siltstone, mudstone, sandstone, limestone and coal lithologies. Bedrock is from the Pennsylvanian Geologic Period. Horace R. Collins and Myron T.
