An outcrop with the Ewing and Noble limestones of the Conemaugh Group at the Ava Brick Corporation claypit north of Ava, Buffalo Township, Noble County, Ohio. This area has shale, siltstone, mudstone, sandstone, limestone and coal lithologies. Bedrock is from the Pennsylvanian Geologic Period. Gary Watts, Horace R. Collins and Myron T.
