An outcrop showing slump in the Ames limestone of the Conemaugh Group on the west side of Interstate 77, south of Belle Valley, Noble County, Ohio. This area has shale, siltstone, mudstone, sandstone, limestone and coal lithologies. Bedrock is from the Pennsylvanian Geologic Period. The image was taken by Michael C. Hansen in 1980.
