Outcrop of the Brush Creek limestone of the Conemaugh Group at the Diamond Stone Quarries, No. 1, in Lee Township, Athens County, Ohio. This area has shale, siltstone, mudstone, sandstone, limestone and coal lithologies. Bedrock is from the Pennsylvanian Geologic Period. The photograph was taken by Michael C. Hansen in October 1967.
