An outcrop of the Noble limestone of the Conemaugh Group at the King Quarries quarry in Noble Township, Noble County, Ohio. This area has shale, siltstone, mudstone, sandstone, limestone and coal lithologies. Bedrock is from the Pennsylvanian Geologic Period. The image was taken in 1981.
