An outcrop of the Pottsville Group-Sharon sandstone/conglomerate west of Hartland, Huron County, Ohio. The area has shale, siltstone, sandstone and conglomerate lithologies. Bedrock is from the Pennsylvanian Geologic Period. The photograph was taken by Myron T. Sturgeon in August 1942.
