Maumee beach ridge in Margaretta Township, Erie County, Ohio. Maumee identifies a major late-glacial lake in Ohio's Lake Erie basin between 12,900 and 14,300 years before present. The image was taken in 1962. The location given is approximate to the Wagner Quarry Company operation near Castalia.
