FACSIMILE OF CAVE PAINTING | circa 1966-1971 | Photo by Ann Cady, 2024 | ©2026 Norman Daly Art: This 11 x 9 inch facsimile depicts a section of a cave painting which displays a central gray representation of a small mace from the Archaic period (see COL.43), over which is a central circular red emblem showing a ladder-like design overlaying an orange heart-like shape. The background is composed of a field of muted earthy colors.The circular and ladder images evoke a sense of movement, journey or progression rich emotional depth inherent in the artwork's simplicity.  A large crack bisects the image. The facsimile itself shows signs of wear developed since its creation in the 1960s archaeological expeditions to Llhuros.
