Fragment of Wall Painting from Temple of Phallos at Trolydos

FRAGMENT OF WALL PAINTING FROM TEMPLE OF PHALLOS AT TROLYDOS | circa 1966-71 | Photo by Ann Cady, 2024 | ©2026 Norman Daly Art: Photo-An ancient fresco composed of vivid red and yellow hues on a weathered background, suggesting age and historical significance. The artifact has areas where the paint appears to have faded or chipped, revealing a timeworn texture. Multiple vertical cracks run across the fresco, dividing it into panel-like sections, enhancing its rustic and antiquated appearance. The bold red areas are interspersed with softer shadow-like darker shades, adding depth and dimension to the work, with a small section of yellow on the right.
