GS: Books, 1992, "Tales My Mother Never Told Me"Description
1992, collection of short stories by Jennie Gray (latterly Jennie Mack Gray).
Published by Antony Rowe, Chippenham. This firm, named after its founder, specialised in affordable short-run printing at a time when the print run norm was around 1,000 copies and generally a lot more. Founded in 1983, Antony Rowe used new techniques and equipment to make short print runs affordable. When the Gothic Society came to use these printers from 1992 onwards, the Society's usual print run was about 400 copies.
Stitching was an extra, and expensive when compared to perfect bound books, but it was always worth the additional cost for the extra handleability and longevity of books bound in this way.
