Pair of Carved ShuttersDescription
Pair of carved wood shutters, stained a dark color. Left shutter has raised bas relief carving of a stylized lotus plant or acanthus. The right shutter has the quote, also in bas relief, “LOVE MY LAW AND ORDER THY STEPS IN MY WORD” with the empty space filled by dyad symbols. Shutters are carves so the detail is visible from the inside the house when the shutters are open. Other sides are plain. Pair of metal H hinges on each shutter.Collection
