Pair of Carved Shutters

Description

Pair of wood carved rectangular shutters. Secured with iron hinges on the inner edge of the window frame. The carvings are visible when the shutters are open. When closed the panels and solid and undecorated. Similar carvings on both shutters. Foliate and scroll design with a long-beaked bird in the center and a deer-like animal (no horns) below. It has an elongated head, perked up ears and short tail. Dark wood stained.
