The Three GracesDescription
A small plaster reproduction in bas relief of The Three Graces, specifically the Roman copy of the Greek sculpture (now lost), which is displayed at the Met. The sculpture has a flat back, but the relief shows three nude women with no heads, hands, or feet. The outer women stand facing the viewer, while the central figure faces away, extending her arms to rest across the chests of the other two.Artwork Details
