Listed in the 1884 catalog of J. S. Ford, Johnson & Company. Chair is wood with metal wheels and hinges. The seat is cane. Arms attach to 4 spiral posts attached to seat and to post on back. The front of the back has a design with carvings on lower back, upper back has designs around an oval carving - with button carving at top, leaves in bottom corners, below oval are other carvings (9) fanned across. Arms have 2 carvings around middle on each side. The lever to convert is cracked 2 places.
