A glass bowl attached to a glass base, scalloped edges around the top and border around the base of the bowl. The bottom says "82- 0061A" and "20- 214 Geren" in black marker. There is a large crack on the base of the candy dish. B- (lid)-cone shaped finial at its top, indentions separate the bottom and the top intersections on the inside/underneath it says "82- 0061B, 20 214"
label- "Gift for 50th Wedding Anniversary of Bartholomew and Hannah (Warth) Fleming by Henry and Henrietta Fitzhugh. 8 1/4" in. Left to Ravenswood by Marguarete Geren (Elsie Geren)." I believe this to be incorrect, as the compote does not fluoresce blue under a blacklight. if it was indeed late 19th century leaded glass, it would - but later 1940s reproductions do not.
