Description

Side saddle with decorative embossing; around the edges is a green stripe. There are flowers embossed in green on a piece of leather shaped like a heart on the cloth part of the underside of the saddle. The underside is cloth. Used by Minnie McBride, first female Post Mistress at Sherman, WV to carry mail on her route.
