Description

Handmade carpenter’s plane. There is a sharp metal adjustable blade sticking out of the bottom of a chunk of wood. There is an adjustable wood piece for wedging the blade in place. It is shaped like a shearing blade. it is stamped "Ohio Tool Co" on one end. As it is the same design as 1982.24.02 they have been catalogued together as 2 planes donated by Henry Davis, formerly owned by James Knowlton. Davis was neighbors with the Knowltons on Wilson St and probably acquired it then.
