Description

It is made out of iron. The handle at the top has 10 spikes through it with small iron pegs at the bottom of the last spike. The spikes vary in size and sharpness. There is a hole in the handle at the front and back above the iron peg.

Use

It finishes sandstone blocks for architecture and grindstones. It has been called a number of names, including "stone smoothing pick" and "stone dresser," although the formal name is a Crandall Hammer.
