Silver Spoons property of Mr and Mrs Joseph W. Short and inherited by them from one the early families in Berkeley County, WV. The Pitzer family was one of the early settlers of Berkeley County when it was Berkeley County, Virginia. 1. 4 spoons - Stratford Plate Sectional - on back of handle - 2 spoons have rose design on handle, and indentation around edges of handle. 2. 2 Spoons - Wm. A. Rogers A1 Plus oneida LTD - 2 have plain flat handle with art eco design about halfway down and on each side at the top; 1 spoon has leaf design on back of handle. on front there is art deco deigns on full handle; 1 spoon has art deco along the edges of the handle on front. NOTE: Likely donate with "water pitcher" - 160 years old Belonged to Mrs. Short's great grandmother Joseph Short -- 10 Dec 1901 - 28 Aug 1980 ----- Joseph died in1980, so likely give before then Lucille Short -- 1 Aug 1902 - 23 Dec 1985 Made by: Wm A.
