Description

Wool woven - red and green paisley pattern. Has some holes repaired with some existing holes. Large black stain. Looks like it was cut into pieces - zigzag raw edge doesn't fit with finished woven and seamed edges.

Use

Clarissa Shanks (1877—1963) was raised in Pennsylvania before her family moved to Beckley, WV. She taught school there, then moved to Ravenswood to work as a nurse. Never married, she lived with Velma Hutchinson in her final years.
