Description

Knife was made from a broken power saw blade - stainless steel with serrated edge, shiny, clean. Handle is made from solid piece of aluminum with carved holes for all 4 fingers. Very smooth and polished. Handmade case tooled from leather with dog tags attached in the front with blue and white wire. End of case is squared braided leather tassel. Handle stamped USS North Carolina 1943. Knife was made from broken hacksaw blade and stock aluminum and carried on the battleship USS North Carolina during WW2 by W. A. Watkins. Was on Jesse's Run and grew up on Cavin Fork(?). "Knife made from a broken power hack saw blade and stock aluminum and carried on the Battleship USS North Carolina during WWII 1941-1945 by William A.
