Description

Hat mold for shaping hats in a Milliner's shop, grey cement or chalk. Hats were placed on mold to shape them. From home of Dana Williamson, note that they used in a hat shop in town. Used by his great-grandmother, Nancy Coleman Roberts, who had a hat shop and shipped to Pittsburg via the Muse's Bottom train station on her farm. "Mrs. Roberts was skilled in the art of making hats for the fair sex and operated a milliner shop with the assistance of daughter, Mrs. Williamson." 1 of set of 3 (other two missing)
