Description

Clear medium size medicine bottle with a slight pink toe in the glass. Molded with applied lip. Has the name "J. W. Denoon, Ravenswood Druggist" embossed on front with a Raven in the center sitting on a pharmaceutical mortar and pastal(?). Bottle is slightly rounded with 3 cm neck on it. Has large chip of the lip of the bottle, has "S.B.W.Co." embossed on the bottom. Bottle was discovered while old well being excavated. Bottles made for druggist to dispense medicine. Unsure where Elle McGraw Gould Headley comes in. NOTE: Ellen Henrietta McGraw married Edwin W. Gould, in Ravenswood. She was the daughter of Joe McGraw and Florence Vosburgn. Joe was village blacksmith.
