Description

small dark brown bottle with black screw on lid, label is red - orange and white. With red ink. Label says "Lysol" brand disinfectant. with list of chemical ingredients. Saying also it is an effective "Douche". Also to be used on cuts scratches and lacerations. Has "poison" caution label on bottom. also suggests it can be used to disinfect sick rooms. By 1911 most common form of suicide (drinking) in NY and Australia. It contained cresol a compound that can induce abortions. Used commonly by those who could not afford an abortion. Dr's were relatively unaware until 1960's, could cause renal failure and sepsis.
