(May be grocery) Ledger from Murraysville General Store. Green cloth with black design. Inside are purchases from differeent customers. Insid from covere are the names of everyone that shopped there and where they were from. "ZPG" - Husband's initials Laura Elizabeth Steed Carder 1865 - 17 Apr 1921, married Z P Carder 3 Jul 1887 Pasted to inside cover - "this ledger, which was begun n April 1878, runs through the year 1889. People from across the river, Little Sandy, Muse's Bottom and the surrounding back country visited the store. A great many did business by credit and names found here are not all familiar to older residents living in the community now.
