Internal archives and correspondence relating to the operation of the Skull Run Post Office in Laura Carder's General Store Notes to and from postmaster at Skull Run. Including notes from patrons and post master Carter and Staats. Total of 37 notes. Includes notes to store clerk for goods used on boats. Also includes 2 freight tickets for the Valley Belle - most are notes requesting pick up of mail or packages, some are notes requesting goods from the grocery. All notes are sleeved.

Letter to supt. of railway from postmaster letting him know that on December 23, 1913, when rail workers threw mail sacks from the train, that one or more had gotten tangled in the cars wheel - come mail scattered and damaged. They collected and sent the mail that they could.
