Scope and Content

Property and real estate tax receipts from Monroe and Washington Co. Ohio for Uriah Reddin and Josyah Reddin - 1854-1879. Property and real estate tax receipt for Uriah Redding for Grant (?), Ravenswood, districts in Jackson County, WV from 1883-1893. J.M. Poling was Sheriff of Jackson County. Notice various spelling of the Redding name. i.e. Redin, Redding, Reding, Riddin, Readin. Receipts were first donated to Jackson County Public Library then donated to our museum by Ed Rauh, Librarian. Total of 26 receipts. Letter to Mr. Pack Holland thanking him.
