The title is typed in red at the top, printed along right edge. On the back: "At one time Moore's Mill - in the early 1800s. Virginia Gorby." Label: "the cottage mill was built by Daniel Deming Rhodes in 1858 and the dam in mill creek also. the wooden bridge was built by a man named Evans. i believe it is conceded that it is the oldest mill site west of the Allegheny mountains. this old mill was destroyed by fire august 4, 1965."
