The Virginia Steamship was built in 1895 for the Pittsburg and Cincinnati Company. The Photo is the Virginia's 8th accident that left her in a cornfield at William Grove, WV/Marietta, OH. The 2 pilots were Harry Ollum and Tilly -- 2 of the most proficient pilots on the river. The Virginia remained stuck there for 15 weeks - was freed on June 1, 1910. It had 3 decks, doesn't show anyone on the boat. There is another steamship on the river.Acquisition
