One of the many ships built at murraysville in 1880 was ompleted in wheeling and named the sidney. The sternwheel packet was 221 feet by 35.5 feet by 5.5 feet. It ran the st louis line until 1921 and was then renamed the washington. It operated until 1937 and was dismantled in 1938Acquisition
