Our entry was built by elementary school students ranging from grades K through 5th grade. Utilizing acrylic paint, sculpted foam, spray paint, foam core, and various other materials. This creation is a rolling Bee sculpture with animated wings and a bouncing bee orchestra.
We decided to make an Art Car as a challenge to ourselves as well as our community. In previous years we were awarded twice at the Art Bike parade. Since we had such a wonderful time with that Art Car is our next big step. This brand-new territory and as an Art Teacher and Graphic Designer I personally wanted to showcase the talent of our students to the great city of Houston!
