Linden (8) and Laurel (7) both love whale sharks. They were inspired to design and create the interactive Whale Shark Artcar. Inside the shark’s white dots are QR codes that link to live whale shark trackers as well as live cameras and informational videos on whale shark conservation.
Linden and Laurel are the daughters of Big Al Bartell who is best known for the tile mosaic art car, Versatile. (Now retired.) They were inspired to create this car after seeing whale sharks in the Georgia Aquarium and soon after the art car parade. They combined these two exceptional experiences to create the Whale Shark. They drive the care every day to school and are locally famous for their creation.
