The Village School entry is called The Viking Voyager which is yearly altered by ongoing student groups that attend the Village Middle School. The ship's dimensions are 31 feet long and 12 feet tall with mast. Painted and constructed by our international student body, the Voyager showcases our Village Viking creativity! This year's entry is inspired by our history in the parade by keeping its same form of the ship but creating something entirely new. The boat has turned into a Lorax themed car. We have built weather resistant paper mache fish, bears, and Lorax statue. The car is constructed out of wood, rope, and pvc pipe with cotton fluff trees. The students are passionate about the environment and the message the Lorax brings.
The Village School loves participating in this parade every year as a school involved in the community and the arts.
