2023-All The Feelings Award - different entry
The iconic Magic School Bus is the inspiration for our entry this year. Scenes from your favorite episodes are painted on the van. The Magic School Bus wouldn't be able to take you on a learning journey without including Ms. Frizzle's classroom pet, Izzy- hitching a ride on top of the bus. The Magic School Bus has been watched in classrooms for decades and across generations. Hopefully this car will inspire an exciting sense of childhood nostalgia on this episode, The Magic School Bus Visits the Art Car Parade!
We are the AMCHS Art Club from A & M Consolidated High School in College Station, TX. We are a close knit club with students from various grade levels who have come together with a love of art, creating, and community. Art teacher, Lindsey Gough sponsors the student led club and after attending a professional development class where other art teachers talked about creating an art car with their schools, Mrs. Gough was inspired. She brought the idea to the Art Club and the idea was met with tons of excitement. We put the word out to the CSISD community and a local business donated the van! The rest is history. We are so excited to participate in the Art Car Parade and experience a community coming together celebrating the arts.2023-All The Feelings Award - different entry
