The OsteoMobile manifests creativity with bodily self-awareness. One hundred 6th, 7th, and 8th graders from Baylor College of Medicine Academy at James D. Ryan Middle School designed and built this amalgamation of cardboard, papier-mâché, paint, and other found materials. This skeleton on wheels illustrates the 206 bones in the human body that support movement, protect our internal organs, and are a reservoir of essential minerals.
BCM Academy at Ryan Middle School is a Health Science Magnet School in the Houston Independent School District. We proudly represent Third Ward Houston with an art car designed by a diverse student body from every corner of our great city.
