My 1995 Honda Civic Hatchback has been my Escape Hatch to Adventure. It's been to almost every state in the lower 48, is my everyday driver, I don't own another car, has 344,000 miles on it, and just keeps taking me on adventures! It started out with some rust spots and discolored body paint and completely got out of control! My message to everyone is Arise....Begin your Journey!
I've painted several vehicles and it just keeps going! I'm a single mom of 3 adult daughters who live across the country from me. Road trips are one of my favorite things. This adventure has lead to me becoming a muralist and allows flexibility to do what I want it life. Several years ago a car followed me off the interstate, and parked beside me A very excited young fellow sat in the passenger seat all smiles. He mom told me he was very excited about my car as he loved the Houston Art Car Parade more than anything in life! It's taken me 4 years to finally be able to come to a show. My hopes are that if just one person sees my work and it inspires them to be creative I have achieved my purpose in life.
