The Beatle is a 1969 Volkswagen that spent several years in Golden Slumbers in the garage of the Rice Hotel in Houston, Texas -- Art Car capital of the known universe. The Beatle’s owner volunteered for the art car parade for the first time in the early ’90s, and eventually started making entries of his own. The Beatle is his (fab) fourth art car, and was painted by four members of his Girl Scout troop in forty days and forty Hard Day’s Nights.
