I got the inspiration to build the Slinky Mobile from the style of the Munsters Mobile. I used expanded metal, flat tubing, 454 Chevrolet motor and a beer keg for the gas tank. It has been a work in progress for the last 9 years.
I am inspired by all types of cars from the classics to rat rods to funny cars. I decided to make my own car as a hobby in my spare time. We heard about the Art Car Parade a few years ago and decided to sign up my car. I'm always excited to see all the other art cars and meet people who have similar interests. Meeting new people and participating in Art Car Week is something my wife and I look forward to each year
