The entry is a collection of scooters and bikes made into spaceships. The building materials are used political signs. I wanted to make a political entry that everyone could enjoy. People will see signs from recent elections repurposed into art.
I did my first parade in 93 when I was graduating HSPVA. It has been 31 years and I want my children to experience the fun of the parade. My son is 12 and my daughter is 5. I want them to experience the fun of the Art Car Parade from the inside. To create something that unites people for fun. Even something as polarizing as politics can be turned into something completely different.
