"Amazingly, this 2011 Ford E250 Econoline van was stolen for its catalytic converter but luckily recovered after a week with minor damage, other than the missing parts! I was so happy to get the van back, I decided to give it a paint job, and I wanted to paint it so outlandishly that no self respecting thief would ever consider stealing it again.
I started with one orange stripe around the entire midsection of the vehicle, and things progressed into a celebration of the hit 2022 video game, Super Auto Pets."
Tracy Postert is a Houstonian, educated at the UT school of Health Sciences, an artist, and a traveler. Before the van was stolen, she traveled all over the west coast living in the van as a stealth urban camper. After she gave it a paint job, it wasn't as stealthy, but still quite useful for travel and easy camping.
