Julon won w/Frank Black MS cars for many years, every year a new design for the art car club
The Ramma Extravaganza Bonanza takes its inspiration from funeral carriages and Argentinian Funeral Cars of the first half the twentieth century. Archaeological French scrolling and figurative elements are featured throughout the design. These figurative elements include spirit animals as well as human figures which serves as a dynamic canvas, intertwining vibrant hues and eclectic designs, transforming the mundane into a mobile masterpiece.
This is my 8th year as a lead teacher in the Houston Art Car Parade, but this is my first high school youth group. This art car has been four other art cars in the past, and I want to retire this vehicle as an art car with a high school design. I am super excited about this particular youth group’s enthusiasm and brilliance, some of whom I taught as far back as the 6th grade when I was a teacher at Frank Black Middle School.
