In celebration of the soon-to-open Great Wolf Lodge in Webster, TX later this year, our first-ever entry reflects some of the fun families will have at our indoor water park resort. Our Art Car entry features one of our iconic characters, Wiley the Wolf, in the front of the car and the back reflects some of the adventures families will have in our indoor water park. The artcar is built on a pick-up truck: the cab is a larger-than-life rendition of Wiley the Wolf’s head, in the bed of the truck the family fun in our water park with an actual slide. We have partnered with Rootlab, a local exhibition design & fabrication team to help us bring our entry to life. They are a diverse group of artists, fabricators, designers and engineers located in the heart of Houston, Texas. We were inspired by their passion, pride and expertise, and are excited to collaborate with this local group to make a splash at the 2024 Art Car Parade! The materials used in construction include ESP foam, wood, acrylic, inflatables and paint.
Great Wolf Lodge is America’s largest family of indoor water park resorts, and we’re super excited to be building a resort just outside of Houston in Webster, Texas that is scheduled to open in October of this year. It’s important to us that we feel connected with the communities we serve, so we thought the Art Car Parade, one of the city’s most iconic traditions, would be a great opportunity to engage with the greater Houston community. We’re excited to bring a little of the Great Wolf Lodge experience to those attending the parade, and we hope families will feel the joy when they see our entry in the parade. And we hope when we open in October, those families will come for a visit and be able to experience all the incredible experiences we will offer at Great Wolf Lodge Texas Gulf Coast!
