Description

2022-1st Music-diff version The Youngbloods spend their lives traveling the country in pursuit of their passions, encouraging others to do the same. The Flying Pinkamoflauge Banjo is a rendition of their 2022 winner for the Music award in the Houston Parade, The Flying Kamoflauge Banjo. This van is a symbol of the individuals within the Youngblood family as one whole unit. The banjos welded on represent the father, Friar Banjo "Like the Dog" Youngblood, one of the very first artcar kids of Houston, seen playing his banjo atop the van on one of the family's four mobile stages. The camouflage represents Banjo's bride, the mother of the Youngbloods, and artist of the paint work, Kaitlyn "Kamo" Youngblood. The flying aspect of the vehicle comes from the wings and tailfins on the van which represent the talented and daring young Jethro "Jet" and the pink is for the youngest member of the family, Ms. Jazzlyn. Art cars are just what Banjo does, and now also what his family does. No other way of being. We are thrilled to be a part of Art Car Week, once again, as this community is and has been so huge for Banjo and his whole family. We are leaders in the new world and the current state of affairs is something that seriously inspires and fires us up.
