Carlagio celebrates the art and beauty of water in motion. This fountain-on-wheels features choreographed water jets dancing to the beat of popular songs. Carlagio took two years to build and employs 32 individually controlled jets, three water pumps circulating 120 gallons per minute, over 4000 multi-colored LEDs, a 1500 watt music system, over a half mile of electrical wire, with five computers controlling all the action.
We were looking for an art car concept that had never been done before - in particular, we wanted a performing vehicle. After exploring many different concepts, we took on a very unique challenge: We asked ourselves, "would it be possible to build a musical water fountain like those found in Las Vegas or Dubai, and have it be able to roll in a parade?". After many experiments and custom-built components, we were successful in meeting our self-imposed challenge. And today, Carlagio brings choreographed dancing waters to the art car parade.
