The Iron Maiden is our interpretation of a Medieval Hot Rod. The car has stainless steel snakes with copper bellies that run along both sides of the car. The hood has copper and brass flames welded to it. We fabricated the windshield frame and the glass is 2 rear side windows out of a Pinto station wagon. I fabbed the Custom grill out of steel. And we built the entire body from the dash board back. The car was totally rebuilt last year with all new wiring, dashboard and lighting. The car and party boat were bedliner coated. The party boat is built to look like a ship. It has a great stereo system, bar and when allowed a BBQ pit that hangs off the back. It can seat comfortably 14 people. The party boat was completely rewired and all the lighing was redone just last year as well.
I started doing the Parade in 1990 building skater entries with the Urban Animals. We built entries like the 70' long skater powered Dragon. We won the Skater division 9 years in a row. Then in 2000 we decided to build an Art Car. That car was the Roachster. It was Judges choice that year. Then in 2002 We built The iron Maiden and Party Boat. It was a top 3 Art car that year.
